What Will You Be Charged?

It is of primary concern to Ryan that you understand what you will be charged for Ryan services. Both Medicaid and Medicare are accepted as payment at Ryan. Many private health insurance plans are also accepted, including 1199, Empire Blue Cross / Blue Shield and CIGNA. The Patient Accounts Department is ready to assist you in applying for:

• Medicaid

• Child Health Plus (CHP)

• Family Health Plus (FHP)

• ADAP Plus

• Prenatal Care Assistance Program (PCAP)

If you do not have health insurance, your fee is based on the size of your family and total family income. Laboratory work, general x-rays and EKGs are included in the fee for each visit. If you do not have Medicaid, CHP, FHP, or other insurance that covers prescriptions, you will only be responsible for a $5 charge per prescription. As part of our commitment to providing our patients affordable health care, Ryan pays the difference.

In addition to CenterCare, HealthFirst, Health Plus, and Fidelis Health Plans, the Centers now accept MetroPlus, Wellcare, and Horizon Health Care. If you are a member of any one of these plans, you can enroll as a patient at the Ryan Center.
